With Howard Caygill confirmed for December 3, we have the full schedule for the end of the year with many exciting speakers and events:

  • Thursday 26 November, 5.30pm. KiSS Shakespeare and Sovereignty series – Christopher Pye (Williams College):

  • Thursday 3 December, 5.30pm. KiSS Shakespeare and Sovereignty series – Howard Caygill (Kingston University):
    ‘Laertes’ Revolt and the Limits of Popular Sovereignty’
  • Thursday 10 December, 5.30pm. KiSS Shakespeare and Sovereignty series – Jeffrey Knapp (UC Berkeley):
    ‘Hamlet and the Sovereignty of Reasons’
  • Thursday 17 December, 5 pm. KiSSiT Work-in-Progress – Christian Smith (Warwick), Timo Uotinen (Royal Holloway): Shakespearean Dialectics – from Hegel to Adorno
  • Saturday 19 December, KiSSiT one-day conference: Shakespeare and the State of Exception with plenaries from Eric Heinze (Queen Mary), Nigel Mapp (Westminster), and Martin Regal (University of Iceland)

All events take place at the Rose Theatre, Kingston – all free and open to the public! See you there!
